The Rising star Lwah Ndulunkulu dropped out of grade 11 in high school during the lockdown when she knew she did not want to return to school. It was a defining moment for her as the artist realized she wanted to chase her dreams – Music.
In 2018, She made her music debut with the locally viral song, Mina Nawe, after which she released her debut EP, Ilembe, in 2019. However, her 2019 release did not gain as much traction as she hoped, but instead of giving up, she kept at it.
Her big break followed the August 2022 release of her song, Ithuba, which featured Siya Ntuli.

With a playtime of 4 minutes and 20 seconds, its catchy tune will get stuck in your head and leave you wanting more. The track, Eyami Lendoda , is sung in Zulu and was released in August 2023.
In her interview with SABC News, she mentioned that her album, Imizwa contains several songs that address a variety of issues, from gender-based violence to rape, most importantly she wanted everyone to be able to relate to her music, as being a voice to people who cannot express themselves is very important to her. Lwah Ndulunkulu describes the album as having so much character and depth. In her very words, ‘Punchy and Viby’.
